NRS Mens Crux Drysuit
With its innovative 4-layer Eclipse™ waterproof-breathable fabric and performance-cut design, the NRS Men's Crux Drysuit gives kayakers a new standard of unmatched freedom of movement and dry comfort.
I am currently using the NRS Crux drysuit and have been for about the past year now. My drysuit is one of my favourite pieces of kit. It removes the faff of changing at the get on or get out, as well as giving you the option to layer up however much you like, making you dry and warm. One of the biggest things I’ve found is that it expands your paddling to all year round allowing you to make the most of the water and time on it.
The NRS Crux drysuit is one of the most premium drysuits on the market. Their Eclipse 4 layer fabric offers great breathability and the polyester outer gives the suit a subtle but durable face fabric meaning it can tackle any environment you throw at it.
The front entry allows for easy access and ease of doing the suit up. With the entry zip at the front, it gives a great feel of unrestricted freedom across the shoulders.
The heavy-duty TIZIP® Masterseal waterproof entry zipper allows easy entrance via the front of the suit and is covered with a hook-and-loop sealed flap for extra protection.
Punch-through neoprene overcuffs protect the wrist and neck gaskets, also giving the suit a clean-cut feel.
Keep the Deck Up
The overskirt, with its 13 cm wide neoprene band and double-pull hook-and-loop closure fits over your spraydeck tunnel to complete a watertight seal. Also great to give your suit a more fitted seal when canoeing or doing activities that don't require a spraydeck.
For improved durability, NRS has used its extra burly Eclipse fabric in the seat and lower leg. Its high-density exterior weave provides maximum resistance to abrasion and puncture.
